A Year Ago: 'I was not aware until recently.  I did not know this music existed and I am sad for the time I missed and simultaneously glad for being here now. I'm not going to provide details of this band.  If you are interested please go ahead and search for that information yourself.  If you care, it may bring a smile.   I love the music I have heard from this band so far. Literally, everything makes me smile and feel an uplifted kind f joy that I do not feel often with just music.  Normally there has to be some sort of memory already attached to a song but this album I've been listening to today is phenomenal.  'right out tha gate.' DECIDE. Such a great word.  Yes, there are innumerable possibilities in this world.  Possibilities of the life you could live, the path you could take to lead you, hopefully, to heights of success and happiness you can't even imagine.  But, the thing is, you have to decide.  You can't let yourself sit there and think so much.

Saturday's are for Gathering

Whether it's thoughts, dirty laundry, spent flowers or groceries, Saturdays have become the day for gathering.  This morning I awoke with an unusual amount of energy.  I had a protein shake for breakfast, then the bank for a transfer deposit and the farmer's market for much needed veggies and fruits.  The only relatively bad idea I followed through on, and my stomach would disagree heavily, was a stop at China Panda for an order of super tasty, and super caloric, General Tso's chicken.  Man that stuff is good!!!!!!!  oh well...I'll make it up with a super tasty papaya protein shake for dinner...

yes, you guessed it! I'm in the middle (really a second beginning) of a weight loss extravaganza.  In the long term, I'm aiming for another 40 pounds of loss, never to be found again.  Immediate goal number one was met this morning, 10 pounds lost! yay...

My best friend and soon to be mental health professional told me the other day that the human mind can only truly focus on two things at a time. I'm prone to believe her.  My life is full of 'momentary obsessions'.  Times when I find I MUST know about a particular subject to the point of expertise.  When the goal related to said subject is reached, I move on to the next subject, the next 'momentary obsession'.  Not a bad way to be at all, I think...
HA! I just came up with a positive M.O.! =0)

well, on to the photos of the day!!!
