A Year Ago: 'I was not aware until recently.  I did not know this music existed and I am sad for the time I missed and simultaneously glad for being here now. I'm not going to provide details of this band.  If you are interested please go ahead and search for that information yourself.  If you care, it may bring a smile.   I love the music I have heard from this band so far. Literally, everything makes me smile and feel an uplifted kind f joy that I do not feel often with just music.  Normally there has to be some sort of memory already attached to a song but this album I've been listening to today is phenomenal.  'right out tha gate.' DECIDE. Such a great word.  Yes, there are innumerable possibilities in this world.  Possibilities of the life you could live, the path you could take to lead you, hopefully, to heights of success and happiness you can't even imagine.  But, the thing is, you have to decide.  You can't let yourself sit there and think so much.

At my brother's for Christmas. I've already napped a bunch and only have a couple more things to get before Tuesday... Lola's being a super good girl and Larry, though only comfortable upstairs, seems to be juuuuust fine!

Phew! Post office, the dump, firewood, Michael's and Whole Foods... And it's only Saturday!!! And I cleaned the dining room which had become the 'catch' room. Now Lola's 'room' can have its own little corner, think she likes it?:-)

Here I am!!!

Lola is almost 10 months old.  She is 60 some pounds of awesome energy and sweetness.  I am almost 38 years old and  all housework and pet play.  My Lola and I make a good pair.  We also welcomed a new addition a few months ago, Larry the Cat is a beautiful gray ball of moody entertainment and he LOVES to mess with Lola.  I think he thinks he's winning most of the time but I'm sure he's drenched in Lolas drool all of the time. All pictures taken with my iPhone 4S.

Soooo my neighbor's dogs Franz and Gypsy had 6 puppies (by C-section, ouch!). They asked if I'd like one. After a bit if thought and the realization that I needed a buddy, one who could protect me in the house and while out running. I also very much dug the idea of training a puppy and, one day, feeling the pride that must come when someone says "what a perfect dog you have!"... Yes, I'm pretty sure she'll be amazing. And I'm pretty sure she'll teach me how to be amazing for her. Sooooo, Lola came home today. She's a bit of a poop machine, but is very receptive to the training, which is only intermittent. She is only 6 weeks after all and she's going to mess up. It's my job to make sure she only messes up outside...ish...:-)
